#143 Jake and the Bridge
"I'm finally offering a large print sale from my 5 year project on the Golden Gate Bridge. I am terrible at asking for help, but I have over 1,000 rolls of film I need to process and some credit card debt from the project I need to pay off. As most of you know I'm barely able to make this project work and pay rent. I've really tried to sacrifice everything to be on the bridge everyday believing I'd eventually get a grant or something. So far I've had no luck. Everyone has been so supportive for so long and I want to have this print sale to raise some much needed funds and finally have a few options from the bridge for sale."

Rolls awaiting development…
Jake Ricker is a San Francisco-based freelance photographer renowned for his extensive documentation of the Golden Gate Bridge. Over a span of six years, he has visited the bridge almost daily, capturing candid moments on 35mm film that reflect the diverse human experiences associated with this iconic landmark.
Originally from Mesa, Arizona, Ricker moved to San Francisco approximately a decade ago. Before fully dedicating himself to photography, he worked as a bike messenger, a role that allowed him to explore the city's streets while honing his photographic skills.
Ricker is currently compiling his extensive collection into a forthcoming photo book titled "Strange Paradise."
